JOPLIN, MO. — The Pittsburg State football team shutout Missouri Southern State 41-0 in their regular season finale on Saturday.

Pitt State(8-3) rushed for 299 yards, led by Tucker Horak’s 81 yards on eleven carries. Keynan Scheurich rushed for 80 yards and Tyler Adkins added in 74 yards.

All three halfbacks rushed for a touchdown in the game.

Defensive back Will Bazzle paced the Gorilla secondary which allowed only 24 passing yards.

Bazzle grabbed a interception, along with a pass break-up and three tackles.

Pitt State quarterback John Roderique completed seven of eight passes for 182 yards.

Brenner Clemons accounted for the last Pittsburg State touchdown, on a 73-yard touchdown reception.
